As much as I am not a fan of the three letter phone company whose name I shall not utter, I got an iPhone today. The iPhone’s first job is going to be to go on loan to the Infrastructure team for a few weeks to help figure out what it takes to really support an iPhone in the enterprise. At that point, it will come home with me and will replace my venerable World Edition Blackberry. The Blackberry has been a decent phone, although it has what I will lovingly call “issues” in syncing to the MacBook Pro. (Mail is fine, but tasks are useless and contacts are just a little better.) I have enjoyed the iPod Touch, so it is my hope that the iPhone 3G S will be even better.
I’ll keep you posted.
Wow! That three letter phone company is one of the biggest reasons that I haven’t even yet considered an iPhone. Well, that and the fact that the whole business of an iPhone plus an adequate voice/data plan involves a monetary investment that I’m not yet prepared to make. (I’m cheap when it comes to cell phones.)
But I suspect that you’ll love it. And I’ll sit over here and be just a little jealous, if that’s ok.
