Have I raved enough about GoGoInflight WiFi? Maybe not. There is typically a free offer out there to test drive (or test fly it, I guess), and I think I may be hooked. The price is typically $9.95 for the length of flights (1000 mile-ish) I am on, and if you need to get work done, it is worth it. I remember paying $9.95 a shot for T-Mobile access just a few years ago when traveling, and being able to do it from a plane is a long way from the $5/minute AirPhone option of the late 1990s.
If you haven’t tried GoGo, give this code a shot: 2287707993yvj. You’ll need to click “purchase” or something and then you punch in the code and it makes it a $0 charge. You will need to register if you have not. In the interest of full-disclosure, if you do use this code, I may get a freebee use myself, but even if I don’t, I think you’ll like the connectedness, even once.
Of course, I am posting this from a flight from DFW to ORD!
UPDATE: You can see if your flight is WiFi enabled by going here within 24 hours of your flight.
